Mini Stock Racing Comes to Central Alberta Raceways

Mini Stock racing is an entry-level form of oval racing. The series is popular with drivers because of its rules are designed to keep racing affordable, including typically only allowing four-cylinder engines. At the age of 13 years old you can become a Mini Stock racer, great for the whole family to enjoy and participant whether at the track or simply at home in the garage.

CAR becomes a I.M.C.A. sanctioned race track

Since exploding on the racing scene in 1979, the International Motor Contest Associates (I.M.C.A.) Modidieds have become "the calling card of the I.M.C.A.", thrilling legions of fans every year.  These high-flying, open wheeled stock cars push the limits of power and excitement on short tracks.  Battling on both dirt and asphalt, the I.M.C.A. Modifieds have taken racing to new levels of entertainment at all the tracks where the perform. 

CAR is excited to be part of the I.M.C.A. family hosting three points races this 2012 season.

Garth Dushanek, 2010 Hobby Stock Season Winner

Sunday September 26th was the conculsion of CAR's 2010 race season. Due to the exteremly wet weather conditions this year, dirt oval races were reduced to three events this 2010 season.  However congratulations goes out to Garth Dushanek as he was able to capitialize in each race to become the 2010 season points leader within the Hobby Stock class...
